Organic Decorticated Cardamon Seeds – Best Source & Best Uses.

Cardamon's botanical name is Elettaria cardamomum.
Decorticated means the seeds have been removed from their pods but not powdered, this is the best of both worlds. Easy to use, just grind a couple of tablespoons in a coffee grinder as needed to save them loosing their strength. Or can grind them in a pestle & mortar just before using for maximum impact.

Traditionally used with sweet milk deserts & drinks, it aids digestion & is very yummy.
Cardamon can also be added to curries for a tasty tang.
The book The Yoga of Herbs by David Frawley & Dr Vasant Ladd also recommends it as an antidote to chocolate :)
It can be freshly ground & added to Lassie & Keefir, great in rice puddings & barfi, a seed can also be chewed after eating to freshen the breath.
If you have trouble digesting milk try adding ground cardamon, tumeric, ginger & cutting it with pure water & don't drink too much at once & you may be surprised at how much easier it is to digest & benefit from the nourishing milk. It's powerful so a little goes a long way.
Here is the best source I've found, less expensive & good quality:
